Who is Southtown Sound?

Southtown Sound began 5 years ago when Greg and Krista met while working at the Erie County Fair. After finding that we had a love of music in common we started our dj business, GKSound. A year later we relocated to middle Georgia where we provided the people of that region with our services for over 4 years. Returning to Western New York this past summer with our 3-year-old son was a dream come true. We brought our company with us, but changed our name to Southtown Sound.

We are a small business consisting of a husband and wife team. When you call us, you will always talk to the people who will be there on your wedding day. You will get our personal service every time.

We are professionals with over a decade of experience between us. Though we are small, you will get a level of professionalism that you would expect from a larger company. We also use top-of-the-line equipment to provide the highest sound quality.

We will provide you with a personal consultation free of charge. When you book with us, you will get a chance to sit down with us and discuss the possibilities for your reception and/or wedding ceremony. You don’t want to worry about anything else as you walk down that aisle. Your customized event planning will ensure smooth sailing on the biggest day of your life.

We are more than just a dj service. We also offer instrumentals and vocals during your service. Krista, of GKSound, has played the violin for 25 years. She has provided processionals, recessionals, and special music for countless weddings and other events. She also offers guitar and vocals for your ceremony. These are just a few of the ways in which you can personalize your special day.
